Practical guide
China domestic flights: check your power bank’s CCC mark
Avoid a security surprise by checking the battery and its certification label before you leave for the airport.
The Civil Aviation Administration of China says passengers on domestic flights may not carry power banks without CCC (China Compulsory Certification) markings, with unclear CCC markings, or from recalled models or batches. Check the physical label and recall status before packing. This is a domestic-flight rule; for an international itinerary or any item-specific question, confirm the current requirements with the airline and airport.
A clear next step
- Before travelling to the airport, inspect the power bank for a clear CCC / 3C certification marking.
- Do not pack a unit with no clear marking or one from a recalled model or batch for a domestic flight.
- For a flight-specific or international-itinerary question, check the live airline and airport guidance before security.
