Shanghai Metro luggage storage: a live-availability check

Find a listed station, then confirm lockers in the provider’s live mini-program.

Shanghai’s municipal English portal says self-service luggage storage is available at listed Metro stations through XiaoIron and Hive Box mini-programs. Its published list includes People’s Square, Hongqiao Airport Terminal 2, Hongqiao Railway Station, Yuyuan Garden and Lujiazui. Availability, station access and service conditions are live—check before relying on a locker.

A clear next step

  1. Choose a listed station that fits your route.
  2. Enter the fare zone, complete security and follow the provider’s mini-program instructions.
  3. Check live availability and station operating hours before committing to the stop.
