Taking DiDi in China
Set the handoff to a driver up clearly.
State Council guidance says foreign travelers can book rides through Alipay, WeChat or Didi-Greater China. In Alipay, use Transport → Taxi; enter both pickup and destination, then verify the live fare, product and pickup point in-app.

- Use DiDi/滴滴出行 or Alipay’s Transport → Taxi entry.
- Enter both pickup and destination, ideally with Chinese destination text.
- Verify live ride details in the app.
