Beihai Park
A central-Beijing imperial garden built around Beihai Lake and Jade Islet.
Beihai Park is one of Beijing’s long-established imperial gardens, organized around Beihai Lake with Jade Islet, the eastern bank and the northern bank as its principal areas. For public transport, Beijing’s municipal visitor guide identifies Beihaibei Station on Metro Line 6. The municipal park authority publishes the Chinese address on Wenjin Street. If you are following the separate foreign-visitor reservation procedure, the municipal guide directs you to the South Gate information desk on the scheduled day; confirm current entry, reservation and operating arrangements before leaving.
